Bringing Hollywood to the People
For our final festival of 2008, Christopher Coppola and PAH NATION ride south to the Lone Star State for miniPAH Dallas, hosted simultaneously in the AT&T Plaza at Victory Park, and at Booker T Washington High School in the downtown Arts District (view map). All of Dallas is invited to participate in this free new media festival and create Cell Phone Art, DigiPortraits, and Tone Poems, with equipment we provide, and compete for cash prizes! Finalist videos will be screened on Victory Park’s one-of-a-kind HD Super Screens on Sunday, November 16, at 7pm!

Cellphone Art
In one continuous shot, one
minute or less, illustrate a surprise Dallas-related topic presented
Thursday morning, 11.13, using your own video enabled cellphone or one
provided by the festival.
Prize Amount: $250
DigiPortraits
This contest will feature a short video portrait of you or another person using a Flip video camera provided by the festival. DigiPortraits may be edited using an Adobe editing system also provided by the festival.

Tone Poems
Using a Flip video device, participants record imagery that visually expresses an original musical composition. Computers, editing software and technical support are provided to help participants edit and complete their pieces.
