Bringing Hollywood to the People
The red carpet will be rolled out for Old Man PAH, when he arrives for the launch of PAH-FEST: Hollywood (Oct 7-13), the PAH Nation Headquarters. In keeping with the "everybody boat" philosophy, PAH-FEST: Hollywood will serve as the United Nations in bringing all the diverse cultures and ethnicities of Los Angeles together: from Koreatown to Beverly Hills to East LA; from filmmakers to bus drivers to teachers and students. We will mix old and new school Hollywood, inviting studio executives to speak on new media entertainment and presenting innovative artists using digital tools to express their creative vision.
In addition to Mobiflicks, Cellphone Art, and DigiPortraits, we will add a 4th category of competition: Circus Vision, a three ring adventure for children to use phones with both shooting and editing capabilities. We have limited space for our digital filmmaking contest, so please sign up in advance.
The week-long festival will take place in the heart of Hollywood at 6500 Sunset Blvd, the home of EARS XXI's sound stage and post production facility. Submit your story idea for Mobiflicks or join us for any of the exciting events, which will all be posted soon.

Digital Amnesty Award
PAH NATION's Digital Amnesty wants to provide a second chance for art by the people to be seen and heard all over the world. It doesn't matter when you made it as long as it was made digitally and it is 7 minutes or less.
Mobiflicks Competition
Do you have a story idea that would make a great short film? One with local flair and a regional interest? Submit it to the Mobiflicks Competition, and if your story is chosen, you and your team will be invited to PAH-FEST to make your 6 minute movie during the festival.
Cellphone Art
Shoot a one minute piece of video using a video-enabled cellphone or one provided. A surprise topic will be given before the contest and the contestants will have just a few hours to create their piece.
DigiPortraits
This contest will feature a short video portrait of you or another person. B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Gear) or use equipment we provide for you — including an Apple editing system.
