About the Event:
Storytellers have shaped our societies and the way we think for all of recorded history, and before that to the days of cave paintings. As we celebrate the technology that now allows us to share our stories worldwide we take a step back and look at our past and a more traditional way of sharing a tale; through song. Josh White, Jr. is renowned as an interpreter of American folk song and also as a songwriter and actor on- and off-Broadway, bringing these skills to his concerts and workshops. His nine solo albums include a collection of contemporary songs specially written for &qout;single-digit people&qout;, as Josh refers to his audience of children, and a tribute album to his father - House of the Rising Son. Josh will be here to share story through song and remind us of our past as we look forward at our digital future.
