PAH-FEST:New Mexico 2007
July 16-22 in Grants, New Mexico
Team Adobe
Adobe sponsored a team to compete in PAH-FEST: New Mexico '07. Adobe was well represented by three talented filmmakers: Vivienne Lim of Chicago, IL; Jake Durrett of Battle Creek, MI; and Nicolas Bacon of Richmond, VA. They were honored to be coached by PAH-FEST's founder and director Christopher Coppola.
The team members were chosen from Adobe's "Reel Ideas" program in Cannes Film Festival '07, which sponsored graduate film students to compete in a documentary contest about Cannes. As a reward, the three winners--who formed Team Adobe--were sent to Grants, NM to make their Mobiflicks film, a 6 minute short, and to compete for the $1,000 cash prize. Team Adobe used the latest Panasonic HD AG-HSC1U as their camera, and edited on Adobe Premiere software.
Christopher Coppola was very proud of his team, who went through a grueling schedule: competing in Grants within 1 1/2 weeks of finishing in Cannes. They told their story about their amazing journey from Cannes to Grants--two worlds apart.
We thank Adobe for its participation in PAH-FEST: New Mexico, and look forward to another Team Adobe next year!
